Bertrand de Miollis is a painter and engraver. Official painter of the Navy and great traveler, he offers his trainees to take a look at the world around them and to offer a sensitive translation of it using the technique of linocut. Beginners and advanced accepted.

Programme des Cours

To engrave on wood or linoleum is to engrave light. Only the parts in relief are inked. During the internships, Bertrand de Miollis invites the trainees to sharpen their eyes in order to understand and translate the world around them. He helps them develop their own artistic language from sketch to print.

Horaires

The workshops will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (six hours a day). They will be punctuated by gastronomic breaks

DRAWING (actually the word is not perfect)
– white chalk
– black paper at least A3
– black acrylic
– white acrylic
– wooden support for outdoor work
– pliers
– white paper pad + charcoal + pencils (not required)
– paint brushes

ENGRAVING
– 2 cutters
– 1 linoleum plate 24cm x 20 cm per day
– special engraving paper
– ink (2 large pots 2 colors)
